about

a1. 21st century piano
voice in a small space which is good for slight high frequencies reverb.
recording pauses once the computer determines the "silence" longer than certain length.
two separate recordings for left and right channel. each in different length of "silence detecting". in order to let the phases interference each other. but not in an accurate manner.
there was a kid practicing piano next door.

a2. 53hz room
voice and feedback in a room where is good for low frequencies resonance i.e. so-called standing wave. which is around 53hz.
with help of a pair of 8 inch speakers and a 12 inch subwoofer.

b1. purified signal #47
voices after a heavy digital noise-reduction.
two mono tracks set as left and right channels.
back to some years ago one of the first things i learnd from audio production is making the recording clean and clear.

b2. purified signal #49
as track b1. mono.

b3. japanese doppler
voice while moving in front of 2 mics.
in japan people always say sumimasen (excuse me). in some cases almost can't hear anything but the "s" as there is only minimal apology needed. once i saw a man saying "ssssssssssssssssssssssss" gently while snaking quickly in a crowded train station.

b4. monks and a boat
for practicing long horns, young monks from labrang monastery always put one end of the horn into xiahe river while blowing it. i used practicing my voice along the same river. after 15 years i think it's time to put my head into water. so i did this in the kitchen sink.
while doing this, i was concentrating my mind on the automatic boat invented by lama gendün chöphel (1903-1951). it says that it could drive from one bank of this same xiahe river to another by itself. unfortunately no further information remains.
